Since 1974, Parat Halvorsen has delivered more than 500 complete systems to ships, including oil boilers, waste-heat boilers and  combination oil/ waste-heat boilers. Parat Halvorsen handles and takes responsibility for the entire delivery, including boilers, tanks, pumps, heat exchangers, etc. The company meets DNV, LRS, ABS and BV standards among others. We meet environmental and energy challenges head-on. One of our innovations is the PARAT ORO system, a complete steam and heat solution used on supply ships. Our solutions ensure maximum energy recovery from

the ship’s engines. During regular operation the electrical/oil-fired steam boiler produces hot water for heating, utilities and tank cleaning. When these ships carry out oil recovery operations, our special jet system provides direct steam injection in the tanks where the oil is recovered. The jet system has been tested and approved by the Norwegian Clean Seas Association for Operating Companies (NOFO) on a number of offshore vessels currently in operation.
