New order from Tersan Shipyard for 2 new MCS Combined Steam boilers

Steam will be delivered by our 2x 4 tons MCS Combined Steam Boilers utilizing the exhaust heat, the boilers are equipped with a rotary cup burner designed to use excess fish oil as a substitute to marine diesel if available. 

The system will be delivered with Feed water tank, water treatment, heat exchangers, thermal oil system, pumps and surplus steam dumping system. All controlled by PARAT designed PLC system. The Steam System will be used for the trawlers processing plants. The Hot Water System will be heated by Heat Recovery, Steam and/or Electricity and the potable water to be heated by the central heating system.

The ST-191 L is designed by Skipsteknisk in Norway. The vessel is tailored for the Pacific fisheries in the Far East of Russia, with its length and beam it will become among the World's largest purpose-built factory trawlers. The boilers are scheduled for delivery in January 2021. The Factory Freezer Trawler is a Skipsteknisk ST-191 L design, being built at Tersan Shipyard in Turkey, and will be delivered to the Russian owner Okeanrybflot.

Reduce height and increase capacity with new Tubes

Use our new ERK Tubes in this boiler as an option to reduce the height and volume of the boiler by up to 30% or increase capacity of the boiler of up to 30%. Also allowing longer operational cycles, less maintenance, significantly less cleaning and less downtime. This can be an excellent solution if boiler weight and size is important on your vessel.
