PARAT to deliver second Retrofit Steam Boiler to Sanford, New Zealand
We will replace existing 2.700kgs/h steam boiler on the deep-sea trawler; San Discovery with a new PARAT made boiler with same outer dimensions and connections.

PARAT Halvorsen AS will replace a 30-year-old PARAT vertical combined Oil-fired/Exhaust Gas Steam Boiler, Coned Type, with a brand new PARAT boiler with exactly the same outer dimensions, modified hatches and a new modern oil-fired burner. DNV-GL Class. We have also upgraded the control panel and installed a touch screen for easy boiler control.
Sanford Discovery was designed by Fiskerstrand and built by Sterkoder in Norway in 1992.

San Discovery is a stern type deep-sea trawler and have the ability to produce fillets (block and shatter-pack), H&G, squid tubes and fishmeal. These products are processed, packaged and labelled to export standards, including the EU and US markets.
