PARAT delivers new Electrode Boiler to Vistin Pharma
PARAT Halvorsen AS will supply a new High Voltage Electrode Boiler to Vistin Pharma (formerly Weifa) in Kragerø, Norway.
Vistin Pharma uses steam for heating in various stages of the production process and for heating the production premises. The plant produces the pharmaceutical active ingredient Metformin HCl, which is used in the treatment of diabetes. Vistin Pharma has more than 65 years experience in pharmaceutical production and products marketed in more than 50 countries around the world.
The boiler to be installed at the end of the year is a 4,5MW High Voltage Electrode Steam Boiler. The voltage on this is 22kV. PARAT is responsible for the entire assembly including both installation and integration into the existing steam system.
Existing steam plant is also supplied by PARAT. We are delighted that the customer has again chosen a quality product from PARAT Halvorsen AS.
