New Electrode Boiler being installed in Bielefeld

A new 20 MW, 6kV Hot Water Electrode Boiler is being installed at Stadtwerke Bielefeld now. The boiler have a design pressure of 10 barg and an operational pressure of 6.2 barg.

PARAT Halvorsen supply the Electrode Boiler with control panel and separate frequency converter cabinets. We also supply primary pump, secondary pump, accumulator pump and heat exchanger.

AS Scan does the mounting of the boiler components and pipes on the primary line.
There is a planned startup in the second quarter of 2016.
