New UK agent scores first assignment!
On November 17th 2011, PARAT Halvorsen signed an agency agreement with Caltech Marine for the UK boiler market.
Lady Martine is the first Parat repair job in the UK from our new agent.
Anthony Calvey started Caltech Marine 11 years ago to concentrate on the support services sector of the Marine industry and soon became involved in Boiler repair and service, and has specialized in this area ever since. As an engineer, he likes to work closely with Parats UK clients to ensure a professional & efficient project, from a small service to a complete Boiler package.
The first job was on the Lady Martine...a small Miura Aux Boiler that required a complete retube. We were asked by A&P Shipyard in Falmouth to quote at short notice and from the time we got the enquiry to start up of the repair took just one week.
